Job Duties And Responsibilities

DISH is seeking a Senior Engineer to drive the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI/ML and Generative AI (GenAI) solutions to enhance 5G wireless operations. This role will focus on creating scalable and efficient AI-driven systems for network optimization, predictive analytics, and real-time decision-making. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AI/ML capabilities into DISH's 5G infrastructure.



Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI/ML models to optimize 5G network performance and integrate Generative AI technologies for advanced automation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI/ML solutions into 5G infrastructure, ensuring smooth transitions and knowledge continuity.
• Optimize AI pipelines for real-time data handling, scalability, and develop APIs for seamless system communication.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with tools like Git Lab and Jenkins and leverage cloud-native technologies for scalable AI solutions.
• Conduct testing, benchmarking, and documentation to ensure AI/ML systems meet performance and functional requirements.
• Lead AI/ML initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to roadmaps, aligning solutions with project goals.

Skills, Experience And Requirements



Education and Experience :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred)
• 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML, GenAI, or a combination of software development and AI-driven solutions, with extensive expertise in integrating AI/ML into enterprise-scale applications
• Strong track record of delivering scalable AI/ML systems, including experience in telecom or 5G wireless operations

Skills And Qualifications

• Expertise in AI/ML frameworks like Tensor Flow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn, with hands-on experience in fine-tuning large language models.
• Strong understanding of 5G wireless network systems and telecom-specific AI/ML applications.
• Experience designing production-grade AI pipelines for real-time decision-making and predictive analytics.
• Proficient in cloud-based AI solutions using AWS services such as Sage Maker, Lambda, EKS, and S3.
• Skilled in Python programming, data processing libraries (Pandas, Num Py, Apache Spark), and API development for system integration.
• Knowledgeable in CI/CD pipelines (Git Lab, Jenkins, Argo CD), version control (Git), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Agile development.

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
