About Service LinkService Link is modernizing the mortgage services industry through AI‑accelerated engineering, intelligent automation, and next‑generation software delivery practices. We empower the nation’s top lenders and financial institutions with advanced technology, data‑driven insights, and high‑velocity product development models.
We’re not just evolving legacy workflows - we’re redefining how software is designed, built, tested, and deployed. Generative AI, autonomous systems, and continuous delivery are core to how we operate. Innovation isn’t optional here - it’s the expectation.
If you’re passionate about transforming engineering organizations and operationalizing AI‑driven development models at enterprise scale, you’ll thrive at Service Link.
Why this role existsService Link’s EXOS platform powers digital ordering, fulfillment, and scheduling for valuations, title, home equity transactions, and closing services. Lenders increasingly expect turnkey connectivity through VANs and loan origination systems (LOS) like Encompass/ICE, Meridian Link Mortgage, Empower and other leading platforms. We need a hands‑on integration leader who can own partner connectivity end‑to‑end
, keep our developer/API guides worldclass
, and innovate how orders flow across the ecosystem.
- Seamless connectivity: Stand up and harden EXOS integrations with top LOS/VAN partners and large lenders - reducing partner onboarding timelines by 30–50%.
- Developer experience: Turn our API guide into a gold‑standard, versioned developer portal (better examples, Postman/OpenAPI, error catalogs), increasing self‑service integrations and reducing support load.
- Order flow innovation: Propose and pilot 2–3 new, “lights‑out” transaction patterns (e.g., event‑driven status updates, intelligent retries/idempotency, proactive validation against MISMO mappings or partner schemas) that improve SLAs and reduce exceptions.
- Lead technical discovery, solution design, and delivery for partner and lender integrations (REST/SOAP, webhooks, eventing) across various industry leading Mortgage POS systems.
- Define mapping specs and data contracts (JSON/XML; MISMO where applicable), plus authentication (OAuth2/JWT), idempotency, throttling, and error handling patterns.
- Stand up reusable adapters/connectors and reference implementations that shorten time to firstorder.
- Serve as primary technical point of contact for lender/partner onboarding - run kickoff calls, troubleshoot payloads/logs, and guide client tech teams to production readiness.
- Collaborate with VANs/LOS vendors and pricing/decisioning providers to ensure roadmaps and certifications don’t break our flows.
- Maintain the EXOS Integration/API Guide (OpenAPI spec, sample payloads, code snippets, versioning, deprecation policy). Track feedback and analytics to iterate.
- Prioritize the integrations backlog with clear acceptance criteria; instrument SLIs/SLOs (latency, success rate, retries, orphaned orders).
- Author “integration change notes” for partners on breaking/non‑breaking changes; coordinate version rollouts.
- Partner with SRE/Support to implement observability (structured logs, correlation IDs), dashboards, and alerting for each integration. Create runbooks and escalation paths.
- Drive post incident reviews and pattern‑based fixes (circuit breakers, dead letter queues) to eliminate repeats.
- 5–8+ years in integrations, partner engineering, solutions engineering, or product/integration management in mortgage/fintech - shipping real connections to LOS/POS/VAN/PPE platforms (e.g., Encompass/ICE, Meridian Link, Black Knight/Empower, Simple Nexus, Blend, Optimal Blue).
- Hands‑on experience designing and delivering API‑based integrations (REST/SOAP, webhooks), including OAuth2
, retries/backoff, idempotency, and contract testing; comfort with JSON/XML and…
