Job Summary (Cloud Engineer – Identity Management)
- Engineer, configure, and support enterprise-scale identity management platforms (MIM/ADLDS).
- Manage and maintain SQL Server infrastructure for identity stack, ensuring high availability and robust backup/recovery.
- Develop automated solutions using scripts, pipelines, and cloud-based server-less computing (especially AWS).
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution for complex, high-severity incidents; provide 24x7x365 IAM support.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions with detailed architecture and documentation.
- Analyze and optimize authentication services; identify technical improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate on cloud security and automated server-less computing within AWS.
- Develop scripts and automation in Power Shell, .NET, VBScript, YAML, Python, and other languages.
- Utilize tools such as Splunk, New Relic, Git, Jira, Confluence, Service Now, and Radiant Logic for monitoring, compliance, and workflow.
- Maintain and secure Active Directory environments at enterprise scale.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, Dev Ops, observability, and version control best practices.
- Must have prior Capital One experience and be local to Richmond, VA;
McLean, VA; or Plano, TX.
