.Net backend developer SQL

Akkodis is seeking a .Net backend developer with SQL for a Contract with a client in Walnut Creek, CA/ Plano, TX. The ideal candidate possesses required SQL‑to‑API conversion expertise while orchestrating complex procedure redesigns and implementing optimized, synchronized data‑store architectures.

Rate Range: $47/hour to $49/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Rewrite and refactor SQL stored procedures, functions, and business logic into modern .NET APIs with clean service‑layer architecture.
• Analyze legacy database schemas, dependencies, and data‑usage patterns to support redesign, data‑store migration, and synchronization strategies.
• Redesign complex SQL procedures and orchestrate data workflows while implementing optimized, scalable backend components in .NET.
• Build and configure new data stores, implement redesigned schemas, and develop end‑to‑end data sync mechanisms between legacy and modern environments.
• Perform development, unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT cycles to ensure accurate API behavior and reliable data transformations.
• Collaborate with architects, product teams, and data engineers to define scope, estimate effort, and support phased modernization aligned with domain‑driven design principles.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in backend development using .NET technologies with strong SQL expertise.
• Strong client‑required ability to rewrite SQL logic (stored procedures, functions, jobs) into well‑structured .NET APIs.
• Proven experience analyzing and redesigning legacy database schemas, dependencies, and data‑synchronization workflows for modernized data stores.
