The ERP Solutions Architect will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining QAD ERP solutions to support business processes across Procure to Pay, Order to Distribution, Manufacturing, and other core functionalities. This individual will be responsible for architecting solutions that minimize customizations and ongoing maintenance of the system. Additionally, the role may involve guiding and training QAD business users and support functions to ensure consistent and effective use of QAD solutions.
Whatyou will do
- Lead the design and architecture of QAD ERP solutions with a focus on minimal customizations and maximum integration.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable QAD architectures.
- Ensure seamless integration of bolt-on systems, including Bartender (labeling) and EDI, with QAD.
- Develop and enforce QAD architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Conduct performance analysis and optimization of QAD environments.
- Create technical documentation and provide guidance and training when needed on QAD best practices
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to QAD functionality and integration.
- Maintain knowledge of emerging QAD technologies and recommend enhancements or updates.
- Strong expertise in QAD ERP architecture and system integration.

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in QAD ERP implementation and architecture.
- Demonstrated experience in Procure to Pay, Order to Distribution, and Manufacturing functionalities.
- Certification in QAD or related ERP systems.
- Experience in medical devices or manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of IT project management practices and methodologies.
- Sedentary
