Workday Delivery Lead

Job Overview

Delivery Lead role to support the Workday application, managing and coordinating project activities, including semi‑annual Feature Releases and downstream initiatives. The role requires on‑site presence 3 days per week in a hybrid model.

Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Contract Length: 12‑18 months

• Partner with business, development, and program teams to develop and implement tactical and strategic planning across all phases of application, environment, and support management.
• Business relationship management as liaison to Global Human Resources and Shared Service Providers.
• Ensure deliverables comply with Enterprise Application Management Policies and Procedures.
• Provide leadership focused on ensuring delivery and execution align with strategic goals.
• Manage and provide application portfolio oversight with application and vendor managers.
• Provide risk oversight for business and technology risks.

• Workday, Workday Extend, Workday Orchestrate

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of Workday HCM experience.
• Workday Pro or Workday Certifications (strongly preferred).
• Solid understanding of at least three Workday modules:
  Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, Payroll, Time, Absence, Benefits.
• Workday Integrations experience.
• Knowledge of Workday business process, core setup, and security framework.
• Deep understanding of Workday data model, corporate architecture, interfaces, reporting, and data loading procedures.
• Attention to detail and commitment to follow‑through.
• Strong communication skills to convey ideas to audiences at all levels.
• Strong expertise in cloud‑based multi‑tenant systems.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively on solutions.

Expert Level

Contract position based in Plano, TX.

Pay range: $60.00 – $96.00/hr.
