As an Analytical Solutions Senior Associate on the Wholesale Credit Product team, you will assist in data modeling, data ownership, and analytical product development for the Commercial & Investment Banking line of business. You will play a key role working with our Informational Technology team to modernize our data into a data mesh architecture on a Databricks environment. Leveraging strong data modeling skills, manage the acquisition and migration of data and develop ETL SQL logic that underpins database views for downstream analytic consumption.

You will leverage advanced data programing tools like R, Python, Alteryx and BI Tools Tableau, Qlik Sense, Thought Spot, and Sigma to develop analytical reporting products supporting senior global Credit Risk Teams. You will utilize visual design principles, data interpretation, and strong communication skills to convey information to senior leadership and Credit Risk teams.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and own data models, data diagrams, and analytic reports with direct exposure across the Commercial Real Estate Senior Leadership Team.
  • Collaborate with reporting teams, data engineers, and business managers to develop Large Language and AI Models across Wholesale Credit Reporting, supporting thousands of users.
  • Create executive PowerPoint presentations emphasizing advanced data visualization and storytelling, translating complex data into concise, polished presentations.
  • Develop expertise in our credit reporting platforms, Commercial Real Estate drivers, data analysis, and emerging technologies such as Databricks and Thought Spot.
  • Extract, analyze, and summarize data for ad hoc management requests.
  • Coordinate with senior Credit leaders to gather data and reporting requirements, prioritize development, and deliver solutions.
  • Work closely across Credit teams to identify opportunities for data driven improvements, efficiencies, and innovations.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, quantitative field, or other with relevant work experience.
  • Three years of experience in data analytics, architecture, and project management.
  • Extensive experience in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, proficiency in data modeling techniques, and familiarity with data architecture and database programming.
  • Advanced experience using Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Qlik Sense, Thought Spot, Sigma) to analyze and visualize large datasets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products Excel and PowerPoint, to build and convey analytical presentations to executive stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Python Machine Learning and Large Language Models.
  • Experience managing large project scopes, timelines, and optimizing development resources while mitigating risk.
  • Experience with relational databases and optimizing SQL to pull and summarize large datasets, create reports, and perform ad-hoc analyses.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, curious to learn new technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
  • Experience with Alteryx, Databricks, Thought Spot, Sigma, Tableau
  • Understanding of Commercial Real Estate credit concepts:
    Operating Statements, Rent Rolls, and Profit and Loss.
