What To Expect

The Sr. Data Architect is responsible for designing and building the overall structure for the organization’s data systems to ensure data accuracy, scalability, efficiency, and alignment with business objectives. This role creates blueprints for data management, integration, and security across databases and data platforms. It will develop and implement data standards, procedures, and definitions to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.

You Will Do
  • Platform & Engineering
  • Own and evolve the enterprise data and master data platforms.
  • Lead teams building data services, APIs, ingestion pipelines, and data quality frameworks.
  • Create and manage data repository designs to support business needs.
  • Define and implement golden record, matching, de-duplication, survivorship, and data versioning strategies.
  • Define and enforce data standards, schema governance, and contract testing.
  • Ensure platform reliability, observability, performance, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Technology Vision & Strategy
  • Contribute to defining technology vision and strategy for data management.
  • Drive API-first and event-driven data sharing across the enterprise.
  • Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Security, and Integration teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and compliance.
  • Data Governance & Quality
  • Establish data ownership, stewardship, and governance operating model.
  • Define data quality rules, monitoring, and remediation processes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, privacy, and security requirements.
What You Will Bring
  • Minimum 8 years progressive experience in Information Technology with 5+ years of experience in handling MDM or large-scale integration environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Master Data Management Architecture
  • Data modeling
  • API and event-driven architecture
  • Data integration patterns
  • Finance Industry or Captive Automotive Finance industry experience is desired
  • Experience with Salesforce platform programs is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Technology or related discipline
  • Strong ability to analyze system requirements and design effective data solutions
  • Exceptional attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to successfully collaborate with cross-functional departments
  • Strong orientation toward results with integrity, creativity and good judgment
  • Must have the ability to challenge, when appropriate, existing practices
  • Strong background in Agile delivery and enterprise governance
Work Environment

Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking; vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in a home and office environment.

Salary Notice
The posted salary range takes into account factors such as skill sets, experience and training, location, and other business needs. Successful candidates may be hired anywhere in the range. It is uncommon to hire at the top of the range.
