Role OverviewRisk Specialists play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating technology risks across the organization. As part of the Technology SOX Governance (TSG) team, you will ensure technology controls supporting critical processes comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements while contributing to innovative risk management solutions that support business stability and success.
The Risk Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Control Governance- Ensure assigned technology controls are operating effectively and as designed
- Provide operational oversight in accordance with established policies and standards
- Deliver risk consulting support for assigned control portfolios
- Provide consultation on control design and perform effective challenges
- Support maintenance of controls for both internal and external testing
- Conduct independent management pre‑audit assessments of first‑line technology controls
- Evaluate process sufficiency and execution effectiveness prior to formal testing
- Identify potential control issues and provide consultation and effective challenge
- Own remediation plans and ensure timely issue resolution and closure
- Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives
- Identify and implement efficiency‑driving solutions using Agile or SDLC methodologies
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 4+ years of Information Systems Risk Management, IT Audit, or Compliance experience
- 4+ years of Project Management experience leading cross‑functional initiatives
- 3+ years developing and implementing industry risk frameworks and quantitative analysis
- 3+ years of experience with COSO methodology
- 3+ years working with Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) regulations
- 3+ years of experience in Risk Controls and Process Management
- 2+ years of experience with Python, SQL, or Databricks
- Relevant certifications preferred:
PMP, CPM, CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CSOX, CSOXP, CSOXM, or AWS Cloud certifications
- Pay Rate: $56.54 per hour
- Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Work Model: Hybrid (must be able to sit onsite)

Pay Details$56.54 per hour
