Terraform Blueprint Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Terraform Blueprint Engineer for a Contract with a client in Plano, TX
. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong Terraform/Open Tofu expertise while provisioning AWS services and driving secure, compliant cloud operations.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $60/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Provision, configure, and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform or Open Tofu, ensuring automation, consistency, and repeatability.
• Architect and support cloud infrastructure for applications, including EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, ECS, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Implement security best practices to protect AWS environments and maintain compliance across IaC configurations.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git Hub Actions) to streamline deployments and infrastructure updates.
• Drive continuous improvement through standardizing processes, refining architectural design, and optimizing IaC workflows.
• Collaborate with architecture and infrastructure teams to assess feasibility, define scope, and ensure consistent solution integration.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience implementing and managing AWS infrastructure using Terraform or Open Tofu.
• Proven ability to provision and automate AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway) using Infrastructure‑as‑Code with Terraform/Open Tofu.
• Strong knowledge of AWS security best practices and compliance, including securing cloud environments and maintaining consistent architectural integration across teams.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $60.00 per hour
