Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Dev Ops Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting SDLC for Java and Python applications within the MRT space. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Linux shell scripting, Ansible, CI/CD tooling, containerization, version control, and a proven ability to automate deployments, improve release reliability, and support multi-environment builds.
Responsibilities- Develop common scripts and Ansible playbooks for shared components including databases and Autosys.
- Implement distributed deployment and installation of releases to single and multi-host environments.
- Support DEV, UAT, STG, and PROD build environments with CI/CD services.
- Debug and troubleshoot build and deployment issues across environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide CI/CD enablement and best practices.
- Provide release and debugging support during production deployments.
- Automate repetitive manual tasks using scripting and Ansible YAML.
Skills & Qualifications
- Expertise in Bash shell scripting in a Linux environment.
- Expertise in deployment automation with Ansible playbooks using YAML.
- Proficiency with build and CI tools such as Maven and Jenkins.
- Proficiency with Git operations including branching, merging, and tagging.
- Proficiency containerizing builds and deployments with Docker and Open Shift.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- Knowledge of Autosys for job management and scripting.
- Experience in release engineering within a financial services environment.
Start: ASAP. Onsite: 3 days per week required in Plano, TX.
