DevOps Engineer - Hybrid

10 is currently seeking a Dev Ops Engineer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is for a Dev Ops Engineer supporting the SDLC for Java and Python applications. Responsibilities will include developing common scripts and Ansible playbooks, implementing distributed deployment of releases, supporting build environments, and automating manual repetitive tasks.

• Develop common scripts and Ansible playbooks for components such as database and Autosys
• Implement distributed deployment and installation of releases to single/multiple-host environments
• Support DEV/UAT/STG/PROD build environments
• Debug and troubleshoot build and deployment issues
• Collaborate with other teams to provide CI/CD support
• Provide release and debugging support during Production deployments
• Automate manual repetitive tasks via scripting and Ansible YAML

• Expertise in a scripting language such as Bash shell scripting in a Linux environment
• Expertise in deployment automation tools such as Ansible playbooks using YAML
• Proficiency in build automation/integration tools such as Maven and Jenkins
• Proficiency in version control operations such as GIT Branching / Merging / Tagging
• Proficiency in containerizing builds and deployments using tools such as Docker and Openshift
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field

• Knowledge of Autosys (Job management and scripting)
• Experience in a financial institution release engineering domain (bank or insurance company)

$58.26 - $66.26 per hour
