• Define and promote data architecture strategies, patterns, standards, and guidelines.
• Provide technical leadership across complex projects and initiatives.
• Guide the adoption of cloud-native data solutions and data integration patterns.
• Champion data-driven decision-making and reusable patterns, standards and guidelines.
• Lead Proof of Concepts (POCs) to evaluate emerging technologies.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory standards.
• Support mainframe migration and modernization efforts.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in distributed systems, including 3+ years with cloud databases.
• Experience in financial services domain; understanding/experience with the brokerage domain would be a plus.

  SQL (Aerospike), in-memory databases, data warehouses (Snowflake, Apache Iceberg), and Kafka streaming.
• Proven ability to architect high-volume, high-performance transactional systems.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS RDS, EC2, EMR, S3) and hybrid environments.
• Experience building scalable data solutions (OLTP, ODS, MDM, data warehousing & analytics platforms).
• Experience with data security and data and functional authorization methods.
• Ability to evaluate and recommend emerging cloud data technologies.
• Hands‑on experience in logical and physical data modeling.
• Experience with data movement (ETL, ELT) technologies.
• Strategic thinker with strong technical leadership and agile delivery experience.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
