Responsibilities The AI Engineer serves as the contact for global projects with a primary focus on Artificial Intelligence engineering and ensure Enterprise Architecture alignment. The AI Engineer with on the Americas and Europe region, while providing backup support in other regions as needed. Reports to Workspace Services Engineering & Delivery Lead. Strong understanding of workplace technologies and proven experience in delivering these technologies to end-users.
Serve as the strategic IT partner to Markets/Business Units, ensuring technology initiatives are fully aligned with business priorities and goals. Engineering, deployment, stabilization, and adoption of GWS solutions. Coordinates cross-tower projects and works engineers from the same team and with specialized technology engineers and solution architects (dotted line). Project and Program Management of initiatives Acts as single point of contact for program management for GWS and other S&T teams, directly supporting internal customers.
Drive end-to-end implementation GWS solutions in line with Pepsi Co's Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and sector transformation strategies. Delivers unified GWS strategy aligned with S&T goals. Ensure digital solutions are integrated with business processes and operations to deliver measurable value and efficiency. Leads project delivery by tracking progress, anticipating risks, and driving timely resolution of roadblocks. Compensation and Benefits:
The expected compensation range for this position is between $110,700 - $185,250. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred. 10-12 years of relevant IT experience, with strong exposure to Global Workplace Services (M365, Service Now, PC and device management) for a global company. Proven track record leading engineering and delivery of corporate AI solutions Hands-on experience engineering and deploying complex global projects and solutions Deep Understanding of AI tools and platforms, such as:
OpenAI (GPT-3/4, Assistants API), Anthropic, or similar LLM providers. Ability to integrate AI capabilities into applications, such AI copilots, smart chatbots, automated data processors, content generators. Understanding of prompt engineering, context handling, and AI output refinement. Proven ability to operate effectively in matrixed organizations and collaborate with geographically dispersed teams. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels.
Experience in consulting or leading large-scale transformation programs is an advantage. Proficiency in business-level English, both written and verbal. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a results-oriented mindset and focus on execution.
