* We are looking for a Guidewire Tester with strong functional testing experience on Guidewire
Policy Center / Claim Center / Billing Center applications. The role involves end-to-end testing of Guidewire transactions, validation of business rules and integrations, and support of Agile delivery teams to ensure high-quality releases.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform functional, system, integration, and regression testing of Guidewire applications
* Test Guidewire transactions such as New Business, Endorsements, Renewals, Cancellations, Reinstatements, FNOL, Claims lifecycle
* Prepare and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test data
* Validate Guidewire configurations, workflows, business rules, and UI screens
* Log, track, and retest defects using JIRA / ALM
* Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with business analysts and developers
* Support UAT and release activities
Roles & Responsibilities
* 5
-7 years of experience in QA / Manual Testing
* Strong hands-on experience in Guidewire testing (Policy Center / Claim Center / Billing Center)
* Good understanding of P&C Insurance domain
* Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
* Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, Test Rail, ALM)
* Good communication and coordination skills
* Exposure to test automation (Selenium / Playwright)
* API testing using Postman
* Basic SQL knowledge
* Guidewire Cloud/SaaS exposure
Generic Managerial Skills, If any
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
* High ownership mindset with proactive issue resolution
* Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns
* Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Prior enterprise or BFSI experience preferred
