Who we’re looking for

The Enterprise Platforms team is seeking a seasoned Technical Product Manager to lead the vision, strategy, and execution for our Workflow solutions portfolio, including both standalone and embedded workflow platforms. This role requires deep expertise in workflow technologies, a strong Java background, UI/UX understanding, and proven ability to engage and manage diverse stakeholders across business and technology teams. You will own the product roadmap, prioritize features, and drive alignment across engineering, architecture, security, and business units to deliver scalable, reusable, and enterprise‑grade workflow solutions.

Your leadership will ensure seamless integration of embedded workflows within broader applications as well as standalone workflow capabilities that empower multiple business units.

What you’ll be doing

Product Ownership & Strategy

Define and own the product vision and roadmap for both standalone and embedded workflow solutions. Translate business needs into clear product requirements and user stories with a focus on usability, scalability, and integration. Prioritize backlog items balancing technical feasibility, business value, and stakeholder input. Drive continuous improvement through feedback loops with users, developers, and stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, enterprise architecture, engineering teams, security, and external vendors. Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration to align on priorities, resolve conflicts, and ensure timely delivery. Communicate product status, risks, and opportunities effectively to senior leadership and governance forums.

Technical Expertise & Architecture Alignment

Leverage your Java development background to understand technical trade‑offs and guide engineering teams. Collaborate with architects to define reusable components, integration patterns (APIs, eventing), and platform standards. Ensure embedded workflow solutions are seamlessly integrated into host applications with consistent UI/UX principles.

Roadmap & Delivery Management

Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap aligned with enterprise goals and customer needs. Coordinate release planning, sprint goals, and delivery milestones with engineering leads. Monitor product performance metrics and user adoption to inform roadmap adjustments.

Governance & Compliance

Establish governance frameworks for workflow solution usage including design reviews, reuse policies, and compliance guardrails. Partner with Info Sec and compliance teams to ensure security standards (RBAC, SSO) are met across workflow platforms.

What you bring

7+ years of experience in product ownership or product management roles focused on workflow or BPM solutions. Strong understanding of Java and UI technologies. Proven experience managing both standalone and embedded workflow products or platforms. Demonstrated ability to engage diverse stakeholders and lead cross‑functional teams. Experience defining product roadmaps, prioritizing backlogs, and driving agile delivery. Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns (APIs, event‑driven architectures) and cloud environments.

Excellent communication skills with ability to influence senior leaders and technical teams. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience with Pega/Camunda or similar BPM/workflow tools. Added bonus if you have knowledge of regulated industries such as financial services with auditability and compliance requirements, exposure to Dev Ops practices including CI/CD pipelines for workflow deployments, and familiarity with AWS cloud services and enterprise observability tools.
