Key Responsibilities /RequirementsBusiness Intelligence Analyst proficient in SQL, Python, and Tableau. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to create interactive dashboards and visualizations that drive business decisions. This role plays a crucial part in developing impactful and engaging dashboard solutions that drive customer service strategy.
Require 5‑9 years of experience, particularly within customer service operations.
Requirements- Expertise in Tableau to craft effective dashboards that inform strategic decisions.
- Strong coding skills using SQL and Python/Spark/R to deploy data solutions or data products into production.
- Enthusiastic about uncovering actionable insights from data and conveying these insights as compelling business stories.
- Strong analytical aptitude for solving business problems using large data sets.
- Ability to interface with leadership and team members for clarity on requirements, goals, and deliverables.
- Detail‑oriented while meeting deadlines.
- Continuous monitoring of deployed products to ensure quality.
- Comfortable following organizational procedures and coding standards.
- MS or BS in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Economics (required).
- 3‑6 years of experience in Customer Service functions for consumer products, retail, tech, telecom, or financial industries.
- 2‑4 years of experience in a Big Data environment, specifically Hive/Spark, managing high‑volume (1TB+) and high‑dimensionality (500+ variables per schema) data.
- Experience working with massive structured and unstructured data sets.
- Proactive and sometimes reactive with a "Think and Jump right in" attitude.
- Independent contributor who values team feedback.
- Analytical problem solving without losing sight of end goals.
- Detail‑oriented while meeting deadlines.
- Clear understanding of and agreement with established standards and evaluation metrics.
- Maintaining standards most of the time while advocating for improved procedures.
- Empathy toward the team and self‑regulation during ambitious workloads.
- Proactive extraction of clarity on requirements, deliverables, and tasks from PM and leadership during tight deadlines.
- Constantly validating models and not assuming correctness.
- Follow agile development principles to build and deploy cutting‑edge Data Products and POCs using large structured and unstructured data sets.
- Ensure deployed data products undergo testing and meet the highest quality standards.
- Communicate results clearly and intuitively to team members.
- Regularly interface with leadership and teammates to brainstorm ideas, discuss progress, and identify risks.
- Use JIRA and Confluence for agile project planning.
- Deliver timely, concise, and clear updates to stakeholders.
- Continuously seek data resources that enhance model performance.
- Communicate with PMs about data source acquisition.
- Collaborate with team members to design solutions for data products.
- Write code for data cleaning, munging, analysis, EDA, and visualization of terabytes of data.
- Proficient in EDA and visualizations.
- Debug machine learning models efficiently.
- Understand upstream and downstream interface requirements and design solutions accordingly.
- Pursue automation opportunities in data pipelines where applicable.
- Participate in sprint planning procedures.
- Coordinate with Data Engineering on deployment requirements and Data Lake formatting.
- Ensure product completeness and highest quality.
- Adept at documenting analytical work; documentation must be complete and reviewed by Team Leads.
- Ensure code meets team standards.
- Use JIRA for agile development.
- Experience in Customer Service Operations in domains such as telecom, retail, e‑commerce, consumer packaged goods (CPG), mobile, or consumer electronics.
- Agile principles:
Scrum or Kanban. - Solid understanding of Hadoop (Hive and Impala) and Spark (PySpark/Scala).
- Proficiency in Python, Scala, R, Java, and SQL.
- Proficient in data visualization software – Tableau or Power BI.
