Job DetailsTitle: Senior Cybersecurity Project Manager – Plano, TX
Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of complex, high‑visibility cybersecurity projects across multiple functions and stakeholder groups.
- Own the end‑to‑end project cadence, driving agile ceremonies (stand‑ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives).
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring they stay on time, on budget, and within scope.
- Identify, document, and mitigate project risks and issues using structured frameworks (e.g., RAID).
- Track and report on project budgets, forecast variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare tiered status reporting (executive, management, team‑level) on timelines, budgets, scope, quality, and risks.
- Align cybersecurity roadmaps with organizational strategic goals and translate planning sessions into actionable delivery plans.
- Coordinate with Release Management to ship deliverables through established release and change processes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable cybersecurity frameworks and regulations (NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS).
- Collaborate with vendors, procurement, and service providers to ensure quality, on‑time delivery of contracted work.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and coach team members on agile and project management best practices.
- Maintain and leverage agile and project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Trello, MS Project, Power BI).
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (master’s preferred) or equivalent experience.
- 5‑7 years of Agile project management experience (product owner / Scrum master experience).
- Experience leading local or remote IT project teams through the software development lifecycle.
- Leadership experience with cybersecurity professionals, including mentoring.
- Proficiency in business planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and risk management.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Bonus:
