Sr. Engineer – Cybersecurity Risk Management - Privacy

Location:

Plano, TX – Risk & Operations Management team. The position reports to the Sr Manager, Cybersecurity Risk Management.

• Provides functional expertise in the creation, execution, and maintenance of Toyota’s privacy technology services.
• Designs and implements integrations and automation to facilitate privacy-related technological processes.
• Delivers business value by generating reports for performance analytics, KRIs/KPIs, and managing data imports and exports.
• Works closely with product owners, designers, and platform teams to establish specifications and iteratively deliver features.
• Executes daily tasks with minimal oversight while offering suggestions for improvements upon task completion.

• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or at least five years of professional work experience.
• 6–10+ years of experience leading work in agile development environments, with hands‑on experience leveraging CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of North American privacy laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in agile development practices and multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, NodeJS, Angular
  
  JS).
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to tailor messages to different audiences, including executive leadership and key stakeholders.
• Bonus:
  Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems or related discipline.
• Agile and/or Toyota Production System framework;
  Agile, Scrum, Lean, or related certifications.
• Security and/or privacy certifications: CISM, CISA, CISSP, CIA, CIPM, CCSP, CIPP, CIPT, or related.
• Experience with Service Now.
• Experience with Securiti.
