* Translate complex data and trends into clear, actionable insights for Loss Prevention leadership and other business partners.
* Lead departmental and cross‑functional projects using advanced analytical techniques to identify risks, trends, and opportunities for optimization.
* Partner closely with the Loss Prevention field team to refine analytics based on investigative outcomes and emerging shrink or fraud trends.
* Lead training and onboarding for new system users, collaborating with vendors as needed to ensure ongoing education and adoption.
* Travel to store events (physical inventory, training) and industry conferences as needed (~5%).
Knowledge, skills & abilities requirements
* Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Criminal Justice, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
* 3-5 years of experience in retail loss prevention analytics, shrink analysis, inventory accuracy, or other data‑driven retail or operations roles.
* Experience with Exception‑Based Reporting, Case Management systems, and CCTV platforms preferred.
* Experience with Agilence and Jira is a plus.
* Strong pattern recognition and the ability to analyze large datasets from retail, inventory, or POS systems to identify root causes.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
* Ability to lead and work well with others to drive results.
* Positively adapts and pivots to sudden change.
* Passionate about continuous learning and personal growth.
* Big picture thinker who is not afraid to innovate and ask questions. Always curious.
* Strong analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communicator both written and verbal.
* Strong time management skills, proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
