Production support Hadoop

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-managing individual to join our production support team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Hadoop and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently in a dynamic environment.

• Strong Unix skills, including proficiency in Bash scripting commands.
• Solid SQL language skills.
• Hadoop production support experience in a Dev Ops environment.
• Experience or exposure to Spark development, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Strong data and code analysis skills, including troubleshooting data quality/integrity and root cause analysis.
• Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

• Decent Java skills are a huge bonus.
• Decent Python skills are a bonus.
• Automated testing experience with Cucumber skills would be a huge bonus.

• Self-manage work in a production support environment.
• Take initiative to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
• Identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
• Comfortable with bringing attention to risks before they become issues.
• Comfortable with leading small efforts and working with all levels of management.
