Role

Help Desk / Infrastructure Support Technician

NOTE:
This is a Tier One / Junior Position with a salary of $45-50K and excellent benefits.

Seeking a hands-on Help Desk / Infrastructure Support Technician to support internal users, engineering teams, and mission-critical infrastructure environments. This role focuses on desktop support, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking troubleshooting, and infrastructure support within a highly technical enterprise hardware and data center environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Tier 1 support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, conference room systems, and internal applications
  • Troubleshoot Windows 10/11 environments and basic Linux issues
  • Support Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Teams, and One Drive
  • Manage Active Directory accounts, permissions, and password resets
  • Troubleshoot VPN, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, wireless, and remote access issues
  • Configure, image, deploy, and track end-user hardware
  • Support engineering labs, OEM hardware environments, and infrastructure operations
  • Assist with rack-and-stack activities, hardware swaps, diagnostics, and basic data center support
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ticket updates within the help desk system
Required Experience
  • 1-3 years of Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Infrastructure Support experience
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Active Directory environments
  • Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues independently
  • Must be able to work onsite in Plano, TX
Preferred Experience
  • Basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and wireless troubleshooting
  • Basic Linux administration or troubleshooting
  • Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, OEM, or data center environments
  • Exposure to enterprise server hardware and infrastructure operations
  • Experience with imaging tools, hardware diagnostics, and asset management systems
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or related certifications preferred
