Guidewire Development Lead - Policy Center (P&C Insurance) Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Policy Center Development Lead with strong expertise in Guidewire configuration, integration, and cloud/SaaS implementations within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain
.
The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end implementations, drive architecture decisions, and deliver scalable solutions for Policy Center platforms
, working closely with business and technical stakeholders.
- Lead design and development of:
- PCFs (Page Configuration Files)
- Business Rules
- Data Models
- GUnit test cases
- Customize and configure Guidewire Policy Center solutions
- Lead full lifecycle implementations of Guidewire Policy Center
- Work on:
- New implementations (Policy Center V10 - SaaS model)
- Migration from on-prem to Guidewire Cloud
- Design and implement integrations with:
- External portals
- Third-party systems
- Work with:
- REST APIs
- Message queues
- Batch processes
- Work with:
- Guidewire Cloud Data Access platform
- Ensure:
- Data integration
- Performance optimization
- Lead development teams and provide technical guidance
- Ensure delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions
- Collaborate with:
- Business stakeholders
- Architects
- QA teams
- Apply strong knowledge of:
- Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance
- Personal Lines / Commercial Lines
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Guidewire Policy Center configuration
- ACE Certification (Policy Center)
- PCF development
- Business Rules
- Data modeling
- GUnit testing
- REST services
- Messaging systems
- Batch processing
- Gosu (Guidewire programming language)
- Guidewire Cloud / SaaS implementation
- Cloud Data Access platform
- Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance
- Personal Lines / Commercial Lines
- 10+ years of experience in:
- Guidewire development
- Minimum:
- 2+ full lifecycle Policy Center implementations
- Experience working with:
- Tier 1 US insurers (preferred)
- Experience in:
- SaaS migration projects
- Digital transformation in insurance
- Exposure to:
- Enterprise integration patterns
