The AI/ML Engineer Intern, Data Engineering will support the development and deployment of AI and machine learning solutions that improve business processes and operational efficiency. This role provides hands‑on experience with AI/ML technologies, cloud platforms, data engineering pipelines, and modern software development practices.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing and testing AI/ML models and data pipelines.
  • Support cloud-based AI/ML deployments in Azure or AWS environments.
  • Contribute to data engineering and MLOps workflows.
  • Work with modern AI/ML frameworks such as Tensor Flow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and MLFlow.
  • Participate in Agile development activities and team collaboration.
  • Support generative AI and data-driven solution initiatives.
Education and Experience
  • Working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Anticipated graduation date within one year of internship.
  • Minimum Overall and Major GPA of 2.8.
  • Familiarity with Python or other programming languages.
  • Basic understanding of machine learning, databases, and cloud technologies.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Exposure to AI/ML projects, Git, or cloud platforms is a plus.

  • Work effectively in a fast pace, high-energy environment.
  • Strong problem solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels.
  • Intermediate knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, and etc.
