Job DescriptionCGI is seeking an experienced Product Analyst to support Multifamily Operations initiatives within a fast‑paced Financial Services environment. The role focuses on analyzing complex business processes, documenting functional requirements, supporting testing activities, and performing data‑driven investigations related to loan servicing operations in an AWS‑heavy technology ecosystem. The position is located at client sites in Plano, TX or Reston, VA, with a hybrid working model.
ResponsibilitiesThe Product Analyst will:
- Analyze complex business processes, system interactions, and operational workflows within enterprise environments.
- Document functional requirements, user stories, and detailed process documentation.
- Develop and execute test cases for SIT, UAT, and end‑to‑end validation efforts.
- Perform data validation, issue investigation, root cause analysis, and production support activities using SQL.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors to improve operational workflows, validate system functionality, and support production issue resolution.
- Contribute to release readiness activities, process optimization efforts, and cross‑functional collaboration initiatives while maintaining compliance and operational controls.
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar analytical/product support role within complex operational or technical environments.
- Strong experience analyzing complex business processes, system interactions, and operational workflows within enterprise environments.
- Hands‑on SQL skills for data validation, issue investigation, root cause analysis, and production support activities.
- Ability to create clear business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and detailed process documentation.
- Experience developing and executing test cases for SIT, UAT, and end‑to‑end validation efforts.
- Comfortable collaborating with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders across multiple functional areas.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as Jira, Target Process, or similar platforms.
- Experience working in Financial Services environments, preferably supporting loan servicing or multifamily operations.
- Understanding of cloud‑based ecosystems, particularly AWS‑driven environments and integrated data flows.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset with the ability to simplify ambiguous issues into actionable solutions.
- Proficiency with Visio or equivalent tools for workflow and process mapping.
- Experience supporting production issue triage, release validation, and post‑deployment checks.
- Comfortable leveraging AI productivity tools such as Copilot or ChatGPT for documentation and workflow acceleration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field preferred.
