IT Dev Ops Intern, Summer 2026

Tyler Technologies' Corporate IT Applications team has a summer intern opportunity for an IT Dev Ops intern. The intern will work closely with the Applications Dev Ops team to support Atlassian JIRA and Confluence. This is a great experience to gain real-world development and corporate toolset exposure. The internship runs May 26 (or thereabouts) through early August.

• Resolve User issues as they come into the Developer Operations Queue
• Create development issue tracking projects and troubleshoot access issues
• Liaise with IT and related Business Units on solution requirements
• Able to execute test plans to ensure a quality solution is delivered.
• Research and develop plans and tools needed for data migrations from acquisition applications into corporate Dev Ops applications.
• Create or update system and architecture documentation as needed
• Work with Tyler IT teams to provide advanced support and troubleshooting of external application integrations with corporate developer operations applications

• Have completed sophomore or junior year of bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or similar.
• Ability to conduct independent research and present recommendations based upon findings.
• Familiar with product issue tracking and document repositories.
• Familiar with automation software.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with keen attention to details.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Background in or exposure to user experience principles is helpful.
• SQL, Power Shell, and/or Python experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Atlassian JIRA or Confluence software is helpful but not required.

Salary will generally fall between $26,146 - $34,382 before adjustment for geographic differences. Recruiter can confirm if position is incentive eligible.
