Job Description:Job Summary
We are seeking a data-driven Digital Products Analytics Ad-Hoc Analyst to support cross-functional teams with actionable insights derived from complex datasets.
This role involves working closely with stakeholders to extract, analyze, and visualize data, enabling informed decision-making across digital product initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Cleanse, validate, and preprocess structured and unstructured data for analysis.
- Develop and execute queries and scripts using SQL, Python, or other relevant tools.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that inform business decisions.
- Create clear and impactful data visualizations, dashboards, and reports.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather data requirements and translate them into insights.
- Support other departments with their data needs and collaborate with Data Scientists on statistical analysis.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline data workflows.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, R, or Python.
- 3+ years supporting software engineering, data engineering, or analytics projects.
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in a relevant field.
- Strong proficiency in digital product analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Amplitude, Heap, Contentsquare).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google Big Query, Azure Synapse).
- Understanding of ETL processes and tools.
- Experience in the media industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of data governance and database querying.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills for translating complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy.
