We are looking for a Guidewire Tester with strong functional testing experience on Guidewire Policy Center / Claim Center / Billing Center applications. The role involves end-to-end testing of Guidewire transactions, validation of business rules and integrations, and support of Agile delivery teams to ensure high-quality releases.
Key Responsibilities- Perform functional, system, integration, and regression testing of Guidewire applications
- Test Guidewire transactions such as New Business, Endorsements, Renewals, Cancellations, Reinstatements, FNOL, Claims lifecycle
- Prepare and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test data
- Validate Guidewire configurations, workflows, business rules, and UI screens
- Log, track, and retest defects using Jira / ALM
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with business analysts and developers
- Support UAT and release activities
- 5–7 years of experience in QA / Manual Testing
- Strong hands-on experience in Guidewire testing:
- Good understanding of P&C Insurance domain
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools:
- Jira
- Test Rail
- ALM
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Exposure to test automation:
- Selenium
- Playwright
- API testing using Postman
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Guidewire Cloud/SaaS exposure
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- High ownership mindset with proactive issue resolution
- Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Prior enterprise or BFSI experience preferred
