Guidewire Test Automation Lead

Job Overview

Seeking an experienced Guidewire Test Automation Lead with strong expertise in Guidewire (Policy Center / Claim Center / Billing Center) testing and UI automation. The role involves leading automation strategy, framework development, and end-to-end testing in Agile delivery models.

• 7+ years in QA with strong Guidewire testing experience
• Hands‑on automation using Playwright and/or Selenium
• Strong P&C Insurance domain knowledge
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, JIRA, test management tools
• API testing and basic SQL knowledge

• Guidewire Cloud/SaaS experience
• CI/CD tools (Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, Bamboo)
• Lead test automation for Guidewire applications (PC/CC/BC)
• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright / Selenium
• Drive automation execution for System, Integration, and Regression Testing
• Mentor automation engineers and perform code reviews
• Collaborating with business and development teams in Agile environments
• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines and report quality metrics

• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
• High ownership mindset with proactive issue resolution
• Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• Prior enterprise or BFSI experience preferred
