Location: 6565 Headquarters Drive, Plano, Texas 75024 (100% Onsite)
Experience Required: 5 10+ Years
Payrate:

- 60/hr

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mainframe and AS400 Developer to design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise applications on IBM Mainframe and AS400/iSeries platforms. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in legacy technologies and be capable of supporting business-critical production systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain applications on Mainframe and AS400 environments
• Write programs using COBOL, JCL, DB2, CL, RPG, and related technologies
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Perform debugging, testing, and production support
• Work with batch jobs, file processing, and data integration
• Collaborate with business, testing, and infrastructure teams
• Support system upgrades, performance tuning, and incident resolution
• Document technical designs, code changes, and support procedures

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Mainframe technologies
• COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM
• IBM AS400 / iSeries experience (preferred)
• Batch processing, job scheduling, and file transfer knowledge
• Strong troubleshooting and production support skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Skills

• Experience in AS400/iSeries environments
• Exposure to CL programming and RPG
• Strong performance tuning and incident management experience
