We are seeking a highly skilled Application Integration Architect for a hybrid role based in Plano, TX. This position requires expertise in designing and architecting enterprise-scale transactional systems using microservice and event-driven architecture, with a strong focus on AWS cloud-native technologies.

Relocation candidates will not be considered — local or nearby applicants are strongly preferred.

• Hands-on Development: Lead the design, development, and deployment of event-driven microservices using cloud-native technologies.
• Framework & Platform Development: Create reusable software frameworks and platforms from requirements to deployment.
• Containerization & Cloud Deployment: Drive adoption of Docker and Kubernetes (EKS) for scalable AWS deployments.
• Collaboration: Partner with architects, product owners, and domain experts to create actionable technical plans.
• Troubleshooting: Independently debug, optimize, and resolve complex issues.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture decision records and system diagrams.
• Non-Functional Requirements: Ensure all solutions meet security, scalability, maintainability, and compliance standards.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience with proven delivery of high-impact products.
• 3+ years as an Application or Solutions Architect for enterprise-scale cloud-native solutions (AWS preferred).
• Expertise in microservices, Docker, Kubernetes (Amazon EKS), and AWS services (EKS, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB).
• Strong understanding of Info Sec and Dev Sec Ops  principles.
• Proven track record building reusable software components.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices.
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Associate or Developer) highly desirable.
