We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Infrastructure Management Specialist with a strong background in Windows Administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role requires a proactive approach to problem solving and a commitment to delivering high quality support to our internal teams.
Responsibilities- Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to Windows infrastructure.
- Implement and manage security measures to protect the infrastructure from vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to support infrastructure related projects and initiatives.
- Document processes, procedures, and configurations for infrastructure management.
- Assist in capacity planning and resource allocation for infrastructure needs.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end users.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to infrastructure management.
- Strong knowledge and hands on experience in Windows Administration.
- Proficiency in managing Windows Server environments (2012, 2016, 2019).
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS management.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper V).
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively.
- Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Power Shell, Python).
- Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
