Job Description

Technical Skills

1. 3+ years of experience as SDET

2. Experience with automation tools and methodologies, testing processes.

3. Expertise in identifying opportunities for automation in test preparations, setup and configuration of automation tools

4. Experience in functional non-functional test automation.

5. Experience working in Scrum teams as software development engineer in Testing role (SDET) to perform Contract testing, BE/API/mS testing, CI/CD and Jenkins configuration.

Responsibilities

Automation Creation and Maintenance:

1. Creates and maintains automation covering progression regression scenarios across the various QE stages.

Automation Orchestration:

1. Collaborates across squads to share test assets and populate a reciprocal repository of those reusable assets, reducing redundancy.

Automated Execution and Troubleshooting:

1. Executes QE scenarios per QE Strategy and Planning documents, including Progression and Regression,

2. Opens and tracks Defects.

3. Works closely with various development teams to recreate and troubleshoot QE-related defects;

4. Retests Defects once fixes are delivered.

5. Conducts demos after each Iteration.

6. Creates execution status reports.

Triage/Defect Management (DM):

1. Manages and prioritizes defects and facilitates timely fixes or applicable workarounds.
