Technology Support Lead - VMWare

As a Technology Support Lead in the Corporate Sector – Enterprise Technology, you will play a leadership role in ensuring the operational stability, availability, and performance of our production services. You will oversee day‑to‑day maintenance of the firm’s systems, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, and sustain a seamless user experience.

• Lead teams of technologists that provide end‑to‑end application or infrastructure service delivery for the firm’s business operations.
• Execute policies and procedures that ensure operational stability and availability.
• Monitor production environments for anomalies, address issues, and drive evolution of utilization of standard observability tools.
• Escalate and communicate issues and solutions to business and technology stakeholders, actively participating from incident resolution to service restoration.
• Lead incident, problem, and change management for full‑stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructure.

• 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining IT services.
• Experience managing applications or infrastructure in a large‑scale environment on premises and in public cloud.
• Proficiency in observability and monitoring tools and techniques.
• Experience executing processes in the scope of the ITIL framework.
• Proficiency in service‑level changes to a system and troubleshooting components with VMware vCF environments, VCloud Foundation – VCF; VMware certifications required.
• Experience as a VMware ESXi system engineer in an enterprise‑class environment with vSAN.
• Experience in large‑scale, dynamic, high‑availability production environments.
• Perform analytics on prior incidents and usage patterns to better predict issues and take proactive actions.
• Build and drive adoption of greater self‑healing and resiliency patterns; lead and participate in performance tests; identify bottlenecks, optimization opportunities, and capacity demands.
• Software development experience in one or more general‑purpose programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Power Shell). Strong networking background and knowledge of protocols (BGP, VRF, MPLS, IP, TCP, UDP) as applied to a data center context.
• Strong computing fundamentals; passion for building software and a long‑term career as a software technologist; demonstrated leadership in an agile team.

• Working knowledge in one or more general‑purpose programming languages and/or automation scripting.
• Practical experience with public cloud.
• Experience with VMware NSX‑T and Hyper‑V (strong plus).
