Systems Administrator, Windows Server
Technical Infrastructure Management Lead
We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive Technical Infrastructure Management Lead with a strong background in Windows Administration. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and support services. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and operational acumen to enhance our operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Windows server environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to Windows operating systems.
- Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions for Windows servers.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to streamline operations and improve service delivery.
- Develop and maintain operational documentation, including procedures and guidelines.
- Assist in the planning and execution of system upgrades and migrations.
- Provide technical support and training to team members on Windows Administration best practices.
- Participate in incident management and problem resolution processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Mandatory
Skills:
- Experience working as a Lead
- Strong knowledge of Windows Administration, including server setup, configuration, and maintenance.
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server environments.
- Proficient in troubleshooting Windows related issues and providing effective solutions.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Power Shell) for automation tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
Skills:
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper V).
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Experience with cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in Operations Management with a focus on Windows Administration.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE) are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
