UPM Engineer

Job Description

• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly MDM batch jobs for data loading and synchronization, resolving data pipeline failures, and identifying issues.
• Troubleshoot and fix issues/incidents related to data, failed batch jobs, data loading errors, and user-reported bugs.
• Perform root‑cause analysis of recurring production incidents and implement permanent, proactive fixes to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and data stewards to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with data governance policies.
• Analyze large data sets to detect anomalies, data errors, and duplicates, and prepare processes for data corrections in MDM.
• Monitor and maintain real‑time and batch data interfaces between the MDM and its spoke systems using APIs, REST/SOAP services, SIF API, or IDQ/ETL tools.

• Informatica: strong experience with MDM Hub Console (10.5), IDD, SIF, Match/Merge rules, IDQ 10.5, and associated provisioning tools.
• SQL: proficient in writing SQL queries for Oracle databases for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Scripting: knowledge of UNIX shell scripting for analyzing job failures.
• Scheduling/ Integration: experience with third‑party scheduling tools such as Autosys and file transfer tools like IBM Sterling Integrator.
• Incident tracking: familiarity with Service Now or JIRA.
• Problem‑solving: ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues under SLA.
• Communication: strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with both technical and business teams.

Bachelor of Computer Science

Salary Range: $130,000–$140,000 a year
