Technical Product Manager

Overview

Optomi, in partnership with a leading mobility technology organization, is seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead product execution for a cloud-native mobility data platform. This individual will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams, owning the product backlog and roadmap for data platform services that enable secure device-to-cloud communication and enterprise data products. The ideal candidate is an experienced technical product leader who excels at stakeholder management, translating ambiguity into actionable requirements, and driving successful delivery across AWS-based platforms in an Agile environment.

• Owning products that power a large-scale connected mobility platform
• Partnering with engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders to shape platform capabilities
• Leading roadmap planning and product execution in a modern AWS cloud environment
• Driving strategic initiatives with high visibility across a global organization

• 3+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, Technical Project Manager, or Business Analyst in a software, SaaS, or cloud environment
• Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships in cross-functional or matrixed organizations
• Proven experience owning product roadmaps, backlogs, and long-lived epics
• Strong understanding of Agile product management and software delivery lifecycle
• Experience working with AWS cloud services (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Kinesis, or similar)
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, SQL, and diagramming tools such as Lucidchart or Visio
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience negotiating release scope / managing handoffs (clear acceptance criteria before delivery)
• Experience supporting connected mobility, IoT, telematics, or data platform products
• Experience working with global stakeholders or distributed teams
• Previous software development or Dev Ops experience

• Own the product roadmap, backlog, and prioritization for assigned cloud data platform products
• Translate high-level business initiatives into well-defined epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Serve as the primary product liaison between stakeholders and engineering teams, driving alignment across competing priorities
• Lead quarterly planning, release planning, and roadmap execution with engineering leadership
• Manage cross-product dependencies, release scope, and stakeholder expectations throughout delivery
• Partner with technical leads to ensure high-quality requirements, documentation, and successful product delivery
• Monitor delivery progress, identify risks, and proactively resolve ambiguity to maintain execution momentum
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure solutions align with cloud architecture and long-term platform scalability
