Director, Data Analysis
The successful candidate will possess deep subject‑matter expertise in data management practices and risk management frameworks. The role requires excellent problem‑solving, communication, and judgment skills, and the ability to navigate within a complex, fast‑moving environment.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute on data management strategy
- Define and monitor KRIs and accelerate areas of non‑compliance as appropriate
- Oversee the design and execution of data controls
- Oversee data quality monitoring and data issue management practices
- Monitor the health of data catalog metadata
- Manage a team of high‑performing data professionals
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related quantitative field) plus at least 8 years of experience performing data analytics; or currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Master’s degree plus at least 6 years of experience performing data analytics with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date.
- At least 6 years of experience performing professional data analysis work.
- At least 6 years of experience leading and developing with open‑source data technologies.
- At least 4 years of experience managing people.
- Master’s degree
- 10+ years of professional data analysis experience
- 5+ years of big data experience (AWS and Spark)
- 5+ years of cloud‑native (AWS) data processing experience
- 5+ years of process management experience
- 5+ years of project management experience
- 5+ years of experience with Python
- 5+ years of data governance experience
- 2+ years of experience with streaming data technologies (Kafka, Flink, Spark streaming)
Plano, TX: $209,500–$239,100 for Director, Data Analysis. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance‑based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long‑term incentives (LTI).
