Requirements and responsibilities for a SAP BTP – IS /CPI Consultant with a passion for the manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities- Configure, implement and maintain the SAP BTP-CPI module.
- Develop inbound and outbound interfaces to/from cloud to on‑premise and cloud instances of SAP Products.
- Configure and extend standard iFlows.
- Define custom iFlows, local and exception sub‑processes and exception handling.
- Handle various integration adapters in SAP CPI (SFSF, ODATA, SFTP, IDOC, SOAP, HTTP, Process Direct, REST Adapters) to exchange messages between sender and receiver.
- Develop value mapping and Groovy scripts in iFlow.
- Handle data conversions such as JSON to XML, CSV to XML, etc.
- Use various CPI pallet options (message transformations, enricher, splitter, etc.) and manage security artifacts, encryption, decryption mechanisms and SSH keys.
- Integrate EDI, API management.
- Design interfaces and integration flows to meet business needs.
- Work with SAP Cloud Platform Integration, SAP HANA Cloud Integration, and SAP Process Orchestration.
- Use SAP Cloud Connector and CPI cockpit.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for applications developed using SAP CPI.
- Create test data, run tests, and execute test scripts.
- Monitor system performance, identify opportunities for improvement and recommend enhancements.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing integration flows (iFlows) using SAP CPI.
- Hands‑on functional configuration and design experience with SAP CPI iFlows and APIM.
- Experience with Greenfield implementation projects (end‑to‑end).
- Proactive identification and proposal of business process and system enhancements, liaison between client business functions and technical team.
- Strong client handling and communication skills.
- Ability to provide solutions to Business Users based on the issue.
- Cross‑module interface knowledge.
- Knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform Integration, SAP HANA Cloud Integration, SAP Process Orchestration.
- Knowledge of SAP Cloud Connector and CPI cockpit.
- Digital literacy and problem‑solving skills.
- Bachelor of Computer Science degree.
Base salary range: $120,000 to $150,000 per annum.
