Apply advanced engineering and scientific expertise to architect, design and develop innovative technologies and solutions in a Research and Development environment for high‑value technology and solutions from inception to implementation status that are tied to the strategic direction of the company.
Drive Research and Development initiatives, integrate emerging technologies, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
Develop and implement innovative, scalable, and robust systems aligning with organizational goals.
Serve as subject matter expert during the continuous integration/continuous deployment cycle in a production environment focused on complex design, engineering and development.
Foster a collaborative team environment.
Responsible for driving IoT automation within an Over‑The‑Air (OTA) test environment. Design and implement automated testing workflows and work tools which are essential for improving the efficiency and accuracy of testing processes.
Conduct comprehensive testing of residential gateways (RGs) and Wi‑Fi extenders, covering multiple products and software releases. Ensure that these devices function seamlessly within the broader ecosystem of AT&T’s broadband network.
Identify performance issues early and guarantee product reliability and customer satisfaction.
Analyze Wi‑Fi performance data to determine whether devices meet expected standards, interpret large volumes of performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimizations.
Document issues found during testing, including supporting data and analysis.
Engage in collaborative problem‑solving efforts across teams, driving the resolution of bugs and ensuring product quality.
Provide technical support to internal teams: analyze device logs to identify root causes of issues and present findings to support broader troubleshooting efforts.
Develop ad‑hoc test cases as new situations and challenges arise.
Proficiency in Java, Python, Appium, BDD, and Cucumber to develop and execute test cases efficiently.
Qualifications- Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Technology.
- 4 years of experience in the job offered or 4 years in a related occupation utilizing Wi‑Fi standards to analyze Wi‑Fi performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure product compliance with current industry benchmarks.
- Experience executing and developing testing strategies for Wi‑Fi devices, including residential gateways and extenders.
- Conduct precise testing, performance analysis, and debugging of networking systems.
- Develop test cases, automate workflows, and support integration with IoT devices using Java and Python.
- Ensure seamless testing of mobile apps related to Wi‑Fi devices utilizing Appium, XCUITEST, and UIAUTOMATOR
2. - Utilize IP networking concepts to troubleshoot communication issues between devices and analyze logs for identifying root causes of network‑related problems.
Annual salary range: $193,325–$270,400.
