Job Description

This job is responsible for testing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business outcomes, ensuring the testing strategy and processes are well-defined and continuously improved. Key responsibilities include establishing a test and automation strategy, creating common test frameworks, defining and managing test processes including test data generation, defect management and reporting. Job expectations include understanding and implementing internal/external mandate, ensuring compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environments, and manages traceability.

  • Documents, revises, and maintains all automation program governance standards and routines
  • Subject matter expert on all enterprise change management (ECM)
  • Facilitator of enterprise toll-gating requirements for the community across Global Markets Tech
  • Subject matter expert for automation for application management
  • Responsible for tracking of automation program governance health metrics
  • Distribute periodic updated metrics and engage with the tech teams to ensure timely correction of data quality issues
  • Serve as liaison between the technology delivery leads , for all automation requirement and ensuring all deadlines are met and senior leadership is kept informed of progress
  • Drive the management information and visualization tools development
  • Capture key project metrics and information for executive level reporting
  • Work with globally distributed teams to coordinate various types of information and projects
  • Proactively manage risk metrics – focus on “at risk” or “exceeding threshold risks” – work with technology management to address root causes and remediate as required
Responsibilities
  • Creates and optimizes test processes including defect management and reporting
  • Creates and optimizes test automation frameworks and use of test automation tools
  • Leads test planning for complex features that span across the platform or multiple teams
  • Creates a test automation strategy across the application stack (UI, API, and Backend, etc.)
  • Ensures alignment and sign off for test cases from business and other stakeholders
  • Manages test execution and resolves, communicates or escalates any issues that may result in test plan variance
  • Designs test data and ensure data compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environments
  • Lead end-to-end automation delivery programs (RPA, AI/ML, workflow platforms)
  • Own planning, execution, and delivery governance
  • Manage automation pipelines, prioritization, and backlog
  • Ensure solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Drive continuous improvement and scalability
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years in test automation using Selenium Web Driver
  • Proven experience leading large-scale automation programs
  • Experience managing distributed/global teams
  • Hands‑on exposure to end-to-end delivery lifecycle
  • Strong experience in:
    • Selenium Web Driver (core)
    • Selenium Grid (parallel execution)
  • Framework development:
    • Page Object Model (POM)
    • Data-driven / hybrid frameworks
  • Automation languages:
    • Java (most common), Python, or C#
  • API testing (Rest Assured, Postman)
  • Basic SQL / database validation
  • Experience in:
    • Agile / Scrum / SAFe delivery models
    • Waterfall (for enterprise programs)
  • Ability to:
    • Define automation strategy & roadmap
    • Manage backlog, risks, dependencies
    • Track KPIs (test coverage, execution speed, ROI)
    • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
