Embedded Technical Specialist​/Junior Systems Engineer - Law Firm in Plano

About the Role

We’re looking for a high-ownership, technically sharp individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment and wants to be a force multiplier for our top client (a large, sophisticated law firm).

This is not a standard help-desk role. You will work side-by-side with our CTO embedded at the client site, helping drive both day-to-day excellence and longer-term infrastructure/security improvements. If you’re someone who sees problems and instinctively owns solutions — even when it’s outside your normal scope — this role is for you.

• Act as a trusted technical right-hand to our CTO on complex projects and daily operations
• Own and drive critical tickets, infrastructure tasks, and security initiatives from start to finish
• Support Microsoft 365, Entra , networking, endpoint management, and legal-specific tools (Net Documents, Egnyte, Sharepoint, etc.)
• Help maintain high standards for responsiveness and quality — including occasional after-hours support when truly needed
• Contribute to process improvements and documentation that raise the bar for the entire team
• Assist with on-site technical needs at the law firm

• Strong technical foundation (2-5+ years IT or MSP experience)
• Proven ability to take ownership and follow through without constant supervision
• High sense of urgency and personal accountability
• Experience with Microsoft 365, networking, security tools, and troubleshooting complex issues
• Ability to work with coding, Python, ability to draft up and experience running Claude Code
• Bonus:
  Legal tech experience, scripting/automation skills
