This role brings a testing mindset to the team and is responsible for testing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business outcomes. The position serves as a subject matter expert on testing practices, ensuring the testing strategy and processes are well-defined and continuously improved. Key responsibilities include establishing a test and automation strategy, creating common test frameworks, and managing test processes.
Key Responsibilities- Create and optimize test processes, including defect management and reporting.
- Contribute to building quality into the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using best practices and tools.
- Create a test automation strategy across the application stack (UI, API, and Backend).
- Create and optimize test automation frameworks and the use of test automation tools.
- Lead test planning for complex features that span across the platform or multiple teams.
- Ensure alignment and sign-off for test cases from business and other stakeholders.
- Optimize test suites by employing techniques such as risk-based testing.
- Manage test execution and assist with resolving, communicating, or escalating any issues.
- Contribute to the test data management approach, processes, and tools.
- Condition and generate test data, ensuring data compliance requirements are met.
- Participate in triaging reported issues/defects and assist with resolving or escalating them.
- Create and manage traceability of tests through the development lifecycle.

Has demonstrated expertise in testing strategies and tools. Can identify opportunities for technical training and coaching. - Dev Ops and Release Automation:
Ability to perform or support continuous integration and deployment activities. Understands the Dev Ops culture. - Application Data Architecture:
Possesses an understanding of architecture and organizational standards. Participates in or supports the delivery of architecture designs and implementations. - Solution Delivery Process:
Understands the roles and responsibilities of other teams who participate in the lifecycle and engages as required. - Risk Management:
Understands risks and can apply the controls necessary to mitigate. Knows when to elevate risks. - Analytical Thinking:
Demonstrates the ability to identify root causes to solve complex problems in various situations. - Collaboration:
Collaborates with own team and across teams, asking questions to obtain views from others.
