Data Architect
We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to define and evolve the data architecture that powers our International Digital Commerce organization. In this role, you will design scalable data models, establish metadata and data governance standards, and ensure data is discoverable, trusted, and aligned with business semantics across markets and domains. You will define architectural standards and best practices, guide Data Engineering teams on implementation patterns, and review solution designs to ensure consistency and scalability.
Working closely with Enterprise Architecture, Data Engineering, and Product teams, you will drive data integration, lineage, and quality initiatives while representing Digital Commerce within our broader Data Architecture community. This role also provides strategic leadership on new capabilities, data domains, and technologies, helping shape the long-term evolution of our data ecosystem and supporting business growth through reliable, accessible, and well-governed data.
Our International dCommerce team is building the next generation of innovative products and capabilities using emerging technologies to accelerate our business and gain back share. While tied closely to broader Pepsi Co, the dCommerce group has a unique start-up feel and defined values that embrace a more entrepreneurial mindset. We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to shape the foundations of our rapidly scaling data ecosystem.
As we expand across markets and evolve our capabilities, we need someone who can design data models, define metadata architectures, and establish the standards that make data accessible, usable, and trusted across the organization. This is a role for someone who wants to build the blueprint, not just inherit one. You'll define how data is structured, documented, and governed across International Digital Commerce.
You'll represent dComm within our wider Data Architecture community while ensuring our unique needs are met. If you care about doing data right and want the scope to shape it from the ground up – this is that opportunity.
