Systems Engineer

Position Details

  Schedule:
  
  In-office collaboration Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.

• Monitoring and managing all installed systems and infrastructure.
• Reviewing daily monitoring logs and reports.
• Planning and executing repairs on all environment alerts.
• Routinely testing software for bugs, redundancies, and security issues.
• Documenting system performance statistics and reports.
• Meeting company-defined SLA requirements.
• Managing all hardware/virtual environments and hardware inventory.
• Maintaining overall system health.
• Managing key back-end Windows-based servers in a VMware/vCenter/Hyper-V environment.
• Managing enterprise storage arrays.
• Establishing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Designing and deploying new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems.
• I.T. Infrastructure support case management.
• Maintaining security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Interacting and negotiating with vendors, outsource rs, and contractors.
• Collaborating with network staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems.
• Maintaining Azure Active Directory.
• Managing O365 hybrid environment and SAAS solutions.

• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent multitasking skills, time management, and efficiency.

• Associate's degree or at least 4 years of work experience with Microsoft-based server technology.
• Proven technical experience with:
  • Active Directory
  • Microsoft Exchange
  • Office 365
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Windows Server operating systems
  • Group Policy
  • Power Shell
• Ability to travel to other offices as needed (including Data Centers and regional locations).
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
