Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring a Knowledge Management Specialist for a temporary assignment in Plano, Texas.

This is a 6-month contract. The pay range for this role is between $35.00- $40.00/Hr. Benefits:

Description

In this role, you will help Toyota employees find, trust,andreusecritical business knowledge by improving the structure,quality, governance, and searchability ofAKARI,Toyota’s Knowledge Management Platform,My Toolbox,Toyota’s Intranet,and related SharePoint-based knowledge sources.

My Toolbox Share Point  site ownersto supportcontent lifecycle management, site onboarding, training, troubleshooting, governance, adoption, andhands-on SharePoint Onlineconfiguration.

Key Responsibilities:

Knowledge Management, Governance & Content Quality:

  • Develop andmaintainknowledge management practices that support business needs,improvetheemployeeuserexperience, andalign with enterprise content standards.
  • Assess existingcontentthroughinventories, audits, and gap analysistoidentifyopportunities to improve quality, relevance, and usabilityacross AKARI and My Toolbox.
  • Applytaxonomy, metadata, ownership, review cadence, version control, naming standards, and lifecycle practices to keep knowledge assets organized, current, and easy to find.
  • Work withSMEstoturn complex or fragmented information into clear QRGs, SOPs, training materials, and support contentemployees can use with confidence
Stakeholder Support, Training & Adoption:
  • Actas atrusted partner for AKARI stakeholders, content owners, and My Toolbox SharePoint site owners.
  • Leadtraining, office hours, onboarding, guidance, and customer support for users, SMEs, andcontentcontributors.
  • Help teams keepsite contentaccurateandcurrent while coordinating escalation for platform defects, enhancement requests, or code changes as needed.
SharePoint Administration, Findability & Lifecycle Management:
  • Configure and maintain

    SharePoint Online sites, pages, libraries, lists, permissions, navigation, metadata, web parts, and content structures.
  • Organize,consolidate, migrate, archive, retire, or remediate outdated SharePoint sites andknowledgerepositories.
  • Improve findabilitybyusing metadata, navigation, Microsoft Search, content health metrics, usage data, search analytics, zero-result searches, broken link reports, and stakeholder feedback.
  • StrengthenAI-ready knowledge practices by improving content structure, metadata quality, ownership, and source reliability for enterprise search and Microsoft 365 experiences.
User Experience & Content Placement:
  • Use user-centered design principles to improve site navigation, information architecture, content discovery, andcontentplacement across AKARI, My Toolbox, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Knowledge Management, Business Administration, Information Systems/Management, Computer Science, UX Design, Organizational Development, Data/Business Analytics, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in knowledge management, content strategy, intranet management, digital workplace operations, or a related specialist/practitioner role.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining

    SharePoint Online sites, pages, libraries, lists, metadata, views, permissions, navigation, web parts, and content lifecycle settings.
  • Experience with content lifecycle management, governance, audits, review cycles, ownership models, version control, archival, and retirement practices.
  • Strong understanding of metadata, taxonomy, search fundamentals, information architecture, and content findability.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, organization, prioritization, and customer support skills.
Bonus:
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Search, or search analytics.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards, UX practices, content design methods, and user-centered design principles.
  • Experienceworkingin an enterprise intranet, digital workplace, or large corporate environment with distributed content ownership
