Senior Data Stage Administrator

Client is urgently looking to hire a Data Stage Administration with some Data Stage Development experience, Kafka messaging tool, mid-tier infra activities, and dev or prod support for awareness/shared services.

Infra support experience means someone good with software install & patching, connectivity & integration, server & system management, security & access control, etc.

Responsibilities include:

• Working with IT teams to define the infrastructure and system requirements to support Information Server Data Stage environment on zLinux
• Understanding and experience with Info Sphere products in a zLinux environment a must
• Experience in identifying set of standards for configuration settings for Data Stage performance management; optimization of disk space and memory allocation in the environment
• Installation/upgrade Info Sphere Products such as Data Stage and others related products such as Data Masking and Classic Federation
• Configure, tune, and maintain Data Stage application instances and supporting underlying database and OS environments
• Set up the projects, roles, users, privileges in different environments (DEV, QA, PROD)
• Implement procedures for maintenance, monitoring, backup, and recovery operations for the Data Stage
• Available for on-call support for Production related issues
• Provide migration support and automation procedure
