Job Description:
People Soft Technical Project Manager (TPM) leads People Soft implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects, bridging business needs with technical delivery by managing scope, budget, resources, risks, and timelines, while overseeing developers in areas like People Code, Integration Broker, Application Engine, and ensuring code quality for modules like HCM, FSCM, or Campus Solutions.
Key duties include someone who has service delivery experience, stakeholder communication, leading cross-functional teams, ensuring best practices, and driving successful project outcomes from planning through go-live and support, often requiring PMP certification and deep People Soft technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership:
Manage full lifecycle of People Soft projects (upgrades, enhancements, new implementations).
Planning & Execution:
Develop detailed plans, manage budgets, schedules, risks, and resources.
Technical Oversight:
Oversee development using People Tools, People Code, SQR, Integration Broker, etc., ensuring quality and adherence to standards.
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with business users, functional teams, and IT staff to define requirements and communicate progress.
Risk & Issue Management:
Proactively identify and resolve technical and project-related issues.
Team Leadership:
Mentor technical team members (onsite/offshore), manage workloads, and foster skill growth.
Deliverables:
Ensure timely delivery of project milestones, including testing, go-live, and post-production support.
