Application Development Group Manager

10 is currently seeking an Application Development Group Manager for a direct hire position with a Major Financial Services Firm located in Plano, TX, Camas, WA or Tampa, FL. Pay range: $150,000 - $210,000 per year (Camas, WA) or $120,000 - $180,000 per year (Plano, TX). This role is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance. This role is part of the Portfolio Management Data & Reporting Technology team, which identifies, implements, and supports software solutions focused on portfolio holdings, transactions, and performance data management.

The selected candidate will work with multiple partners to understand opportunities, architect solutions, and lead the end-to-end delivery of working applications, reporting to the Vice President of Portfolio Management Technology. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with users, technology leaders, and other partners to understand priorities and translate them into relevant engineering roadmaps Manage a team of up to 10 employees, including hiring, development, and terminations Ensure robust, scalable, secure, and compliant architecture of Portfolio Management Data & Client Reporting platforms Set and build a strategy for Portfolio Management Data & Reporting Technology with a focus on enhancing end-user experience Prioritize work requests to meet business desires and needs by assigning staff and overseeing delivery Lead the implementation of technical solutions and promote processes for software development and support Define important KPIs demonstrating efficient and effective use of the application portfolio Reduce risk by implementing governance and security controls in partnership with internal risk, legal, and security teams Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of experience leading Wealth Management Technology teams with a focus on Portfolio Management Data and Client Reporting Experience leading and coaching technology teams and improving team's overall performance Experience in stakeholder management across business and technology Experience eliciting and representing a business group's technology needs through requirements, project management, and software delivery Demonstrated experience driving technology innovation, developing technology roadmaps, and delivering measurable improvements

Experience with the full software development lifecycle, from strategy to development, deployment, and support

Experience with cloud-based data platforms in Microsoft Azure including services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, and Key Vault

Experience with API design standards including resource modeling, authentication, authorization, and error handling

Experience with industry standard Wealth Management Client Reporting solutions Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience Desired skills:
Familiarity with Databricks and medallion architecture is a strong plus Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis
