We are looking for a technically skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support / IT Support Engineer to provide end-to-end IT support for users, laptops, desktops, and enterprise systems. The ideal candidate should have strong hands‑on knowledge of Windows environments, Active Directory, hardware/software troubleshooting, and IT asset management.
The candidate should demonstrate strong technical capability, a flexible and adaptable attitude, and the ability to explain technical issues and solutions logically and clearly
.
- Provide Level 1/Level 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems, applications, drivers, and system configurations
. - Configure and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, docking stations, monitors, Wi‑Fi, VPN, and other end‑user devices.
- Manage user accounts, password resets, group memberships, permissions, and access through Active Directory
. - Troubleshoot domain connectivity, authentication, Group Policy, network, DNS, and other Windows-related issues.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity problems using a structured troubleshooting approach.
- Maintain accurate IT inventory and asset records
, including asset allocation, tagging, tracking, warranty, replacement, and disposal. - Support the complete IT asset lifecycle from deployment to retirement.
- Maintain appropriate documentation of incidents, troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and asset information.
- Coordinate with internal IT teams and vendors to resolve complex technical issues when required.
- Ensure timely resolution of user incidents and service requests in accordance with agreed service levels.
- Follow IT security, access‑control, and company technology policies.
- Provide clear and professional communication to users, including explaining technical issues and solutions in an easy‑to‑understand manner.
- Remain flexible and adaptable when handling changing priorities, urgent incidents, and different technical environments.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 administration and troubleshooting
. - Hands‑on experience with Desktop and Laptop Configuration
. - Working knowledge of Active Directory and domain environments.
- Knowledge of user and group management, permissions, Group Policy, and account troubleshooting.
- Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with IT Inventory and Asset Management
. - Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi‑Fi, and network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with common Microsoft applications and enterprise IT environments.
- Ability to use systematic troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis techniques.
